Designed to be placed in apartment and other multi-storey buildings, beneath the ground floor opening of the trash chute. Trash is normally pre bagged and mostly dry. Trash is disposed of through a trash chute door, travels down the chute and into the compactor. The compactor starts automatically via a photo-eye sensor, which engages compaction into a container or bag. Compaction ratios as great as 6 to 1 can be achieved utilizing these compactors. Multi-storey style compactors are traditionally about 40” to 70” L x 36” W x 70” H.
